Printing
using the Intelligent Impressions Web to Print Service
The
Intelligent Impressions' web to print service is based
entirely on the PDF 1.4 standard. Following the requirements
and recommendations below, will ensure a successful
and efficient conclusion to any print job.
Building
high quality PDF formats
1. PDF files must be version 1.4 (Acrobat 5) or lower
to ensure complete compatibility.
2. All fonts must be embedded (subsetting is optional).
3. All bitmap graphics must be 300 d.p.i. or higher
at the time the document is distilled.
4. For minimum color shifting, make sure all PDF elements
are in the CMYK color space.

Artwork
Dimensions:
All files should be built with a bounding box that corresponds
to the bleed dimensions given below. The program is
set up to automatically center the PDF within those
bleed dimensions. Creating the PDF to the exact dimensions
of the bleed given below (even if the actual document
does not bleed) will ensure correct placement.
